HIFU

HIFU is an effective treatment for healing and restoring the skin using ultrasound technology that refines texture and creates lift. It reaches the very deepest layers of the skin - a non-invasive device built on powerful focused sound waves.

HIFU

How it works

HIFU energy passes through the skin in a precisely focused way, without harming it, allowing the focal point to reach the upper layer of the SMAS (superficial musculo-aponeurotic system). There, the ultrasound acts on collagen and elastin fibres - the fibres contract, the SMAS volume reduces, and the result is an immediate lifting effect. The technology also triggers production of new collagen and elastin fibres.

When do results appear?

Visible improvement appears about two months after the first treatment. The lift is cumulative, so meaningful changes continue to emerge over the following months; as collagen keeps renewing and firming the skin, the appearance improves and the results endure over time.

Who is it for?

The treatment suits lifting in areas of skin laxity - such as the jowl area alongside the mouth, the neck, and overall facial lifting.

It is not suitable for people who have had facial paralysis (facialis), heart conditions, cancer or diabetes.
